the current interpretation of the watchtower society is that christs role as mediator applies only to a small group of individuals - the 144,000. the assumption is that since the new covenant applies to their roles and kings and priests, jesus mediates between them and jehovah god, while those with an earthly hope are often described as beneficiaries of this arrangement.

i've seen experiences shared that jws have a hard time admitting that they are the only ones to survive the big-a and everyone else, including innocent infants are to be slaughtered.. that should be an easy one-two punch rebuttal, i think.. q1: is there anyone practicing false religion and worshiping a false god going to survive armageddon?.
q2: does anyone else, except the jws have the true religion?.

Not a lawyer, don't play one on TV either. If, say, a rock band throws a concert in the park and everyone is invited, can they legally ban a private recording of the concert being posted on youtube. Isn't the mere fact that they were in the public domain (by virtue of inviting everyone/anyone) and admitting all that showed up enough to invalidate any copywrite claims? Plus, recording is not used for any commercial purposes, only to educate the public on certain aspects of said performer Wondering myself...

Also, I would include the preceding paragraph from the 4/22/1970 Awake quote re: changes. It better exposes the hypocrisy and can be related to by current dubs (emphasys mine):
